Who we are

Narula Educational Trust is to uplifting society through education and community engagement.

Narula Educational Trust, established in 2000 in Kolkata, is a non-profit institution under JIS Educational Initiatives, dedicated to transforming education through excellence and social impact. At the heart of its efforts is the Narula Institute of Technology (NIT), Agarpara, established in 2001.

Operating across West Bengal, the Trust promotes inclusive education, vocational training, and socially responsible initiatives that benefit underserved communities. While primarily focused on empowering youth, the Trust also supports capacity-building, outreach, and CSR-aligned activities through strategic collaborations.

1. Educational Empowerment & Skill Development

  • Student-led NSS programs: plantation, cleanliness drives, etc.
  • Literacy & life skills workshops, health awareness campaigns
  • Collaborations with NGOs in and around Kolkata
